Ok..so I am new to blogging. I'm not even sure I've got much to blog about.... but we shall see. I was inspired by my sister in law, Kirie and thought it might be fun.

Now about me..
I work at a library in the Children's department and really enjoy it. My degree is in English Literature which is pretty useless and I wouldn't recommend it. haha. I hope to go back to school one day to get my teaching certificate to become a school librarian. I graduated in August so now I am ok to be a limbo stage for the moment before attempting grad school.

Matthew and I just celebrated our one year anniversary! I am lucky to be married to a person that makes me laugh and is my best friend. I am blessed to have him in my life.

We are also Disney freaks. I used to think those people were weird...but then one day I realized that I was one. We spent our honeymoon at Disneyworld and just went again last spring break. We're already planning next year but dont' really know when we'll go. I hope to one day have a Disney themed scrapbooking room but that will be a long time off.

My job in the Children's department is interesting, fun and full of helping people. And no, I don't tell anyone to "shh" and I never just sit around reading. I wish. lol Right now we just kicked off our Summer Reading Program where you can "Expect the Unexpected" at the Germantown Community Library! After just a week we have about 1,000 kids and teens signed up. I really do enjoy helping a child find information or putting a great book in their hands. Some of my best memories of my childhood are my dad taking me to the library and I've always felt close to them since. Don't forget about your public library! Its free!
